Yesterday (December 14) saw the release of 'Afterlife', the debut single from hotly-tipped Cardiff dubstep producer/DJ Lung.

Heavy on the atmospherics, light on the vocal samples, it's a big tune and one that shows just how healthy the dubstep scene is right now. Whether you're in Cardiff or London, there's good new music to be found.

There's not a huge amount of information to be had about Lung right now, but rest assured we're on it in the form of a forthcoming Rivmixx Rated. What we can tell you is that he is a 19 year-old white guy... from Cardiff and that his debut is out on Kokeshi, the label setup by London dubstep DJ Alley Cat.

It's only Kokeshi's second release, but it seems that they're coming out swinging from the start. Check out some sneaky snippets of Lung below.
